October 4-10, 2009 is National Fire Prevention Week. Many cities across the U.S. also designate this week as Firefighter Appreciation Week. I am firmly in support of that idea...
In observance, be safe and thank a Firefighter!
Though to have one of these guys show up in a big red truck.... Kinda makes you wanna play with matches, doesn't it?
Hell, now thats one way to make me feel better whilst suffering from the flu! Do you think they'd come cool me off from my fever?
On a serious note, Firefighters don't get the recognition they deserve and that needs to change, how many of us would put our lives in danger for others like they do?
Every year on September 11th my boss and I take a cake and party tray to our station that comes to us in emergencies. The Shamrock Express is a 1st response team and we take them these things in appreciation for what they do every day.
Dammit..where did I put my matches...LOL...very sexy!
